EDINBURGH-EVENTS.COM

We've launched Edinburgh-Events.com
The idea is to have a central place to access What's happening in Edinburgh from our 15 existing Edinburgh sites.

This not only makes it easier to manage, it also allows users to find out what's going on in Edinburgh no matter which of our sites they land on.

For this reason we have quickly thrown the site up there but as with all our Edinburgh sites we will be continually working to improve them. There's always a lot happening in Edinburgh and we hope to work with local businesses, venues, clubs and promoters to highlight these events throughout the year.

If you have an Edinburgh Event you wish to advertise then simply get in touch it and put it on Edinburgh-Events.com

EDINBURGH-NEWTOWN.COM

It's the launch of the Edinburgh Festival today, so rather than wait any longer, I've decided to launch EDINBURGH-NEWTOWN.COM
There are bits and pieces of the site still needing attention but these Edinburgh sites will never be fully completed. They change, evolve and hopefully improve all the time.

There is a lot of stuff on their though, and launching the site has allowed me to join up Princes-Street.com, Edinburgh-Rosestreet.com and George-Sreet.com to the rest of the New Town and onto Stockbridge.

WISH YOU WERE HERE

I've Just sent off a load of Edinburgh Postcards.... to the printers.
ROYAL-MILE.COM, GEORGE-STREET.COM, MORNINGSIDE, BRUNSTFIELD, STOCKBRIDGE etc...
They should make a nice set. The idea is to send them to businesses to raise awareness of the sites and invite them to join. They can also be used as postcards of Edinburgh to send to friends who can check out the relevant site to see everything about the area, look through photos and even shop!

Chameleons at Chameleon Design

I named my business after the band I've loved since the early eighties so you can imagine it was an honour and a privilege for me to have my favourite band stay over at my house whilst they were in Edinburgh supporting Mercury Rev at the Queen's Hall. 19th May 2011.

Chameleonsvox includes Mark Burgess and John Lever from the original Chameleons along with Chris Oliver, Ray Bowles and Neil 'The man with the Stereohands' There was also Tony Skinkis their manager, Deano the Merch man and Dug the drum tech. A fantastic bunch of guys.

I got in on the guest list and 'Access All Areas' at the gig where they played a short 45min set of Chameleons favourites including; Soul in Isolation, Tears, Caution, In Answer and Perfume Garden.

Later at the house I supplied and cooked the pizzas and Chris and Neil had a little Jam in the livingroom which inluded: The Doors, L.A. Woman, Status Quo Down, Down, Neil's version of the Velvet Underground's I'm waiting for my man... and some Chameleons stuff - Anyone Alive and Paper Tigers. I was blown away at how good my old acoustic guitar sounded in the hands of professionals. Chris was playing the electric. It was amazing having live Chameleons music played in my livingroom. Mark crashed out early and John mostly played and actually won a few games of Chess on my iPad.

In the morning after bacon butties I got them all to pose in the my garden for a photo. Then they headed back to Manchester in their Spaffwagon.

Definitely a time to remember!
